Fall is right around the corner and lots of changes are taking
place here at Source Healing. Foremost, we welcome a wonderful new office
coordinator, Gizelle Alverio to the studio. Kate has an internship to
finish out her masters degree and we already miss her. But don't worry -
you can still catch her here on Friday mornings. We're also saying goodbye
to our fantastic summer intern, James, who's heading back to England for
his second year at University - just in case you were wondering who all
these new voices were.
Swing into the studio to check out our new holistic
practitioners featured below, or try facial acupuncture for a change to
treat the whole body rather than only the face. We also have a great
cooking class coming up taught by a gourmet chef. The excitement is
palpable.
Don't forget that Fall is a great time for the "tune-
up" to improve the immune system for allergies, colds and flus. You
needn't suffer more than necessary, unless you really like it. We hope to
see you soon.

Introducing FACIAL REJUVENATION
ACUPUNCTURE
|
|
|
Facial Rejuvenation
Acupuncture is a virtually painless, non-surgical method of reducing
signs of the aging process, and improving the complexion. The technique
uses acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition and acupressure
techniques to address various skin conditions and wrinkles. The entire
body is treated along with the face to correct any underlying imbalances
that can cause you to age in an unhealthy way, and to ensure lasting
effects. Acupuncture has been shown to stimulate circulation of blood and
lymph throughout the body. Increased blood flow can even out the
complexion, and help to maintain healthy skin and muscle tone. The
needles inserted into the face also affect collagen and elastin production.
Acupuncture helps to stimulate the body’s natural processes of cell
reproduction and growth, thus improving the appearance.
Anah McMahon, Dipl.OM.,
who is the resident Facial Acupuncturist believes that beauty comes from
within. Her work focuses on enhancing one’s natural beauty and vitality
by balancing health emotionally, physically and spiritually in order to
restore each individual’s sense of personal wellbeing. Please call for
prices and more information.
