This past year was a year of learning and evolution for me
with how to run a business in a bigger space with other practitioners, as
well as how to be a new mom to Skye. I'm excited to bring in 2006 with this
monthly e- newsletter with information on great new practitioners, helpful
seminars and cool products at Source Healing. Because it's important to
continue to learn how to be well and maintain harmony in the midst of
change and transition in life, we will include tips on how to be that in
this fast-paced world we live in. This year marks my seventh year in
practice, and I am very fortunate and grateful for the word-of - mouth
referrals that have kept me doing acupuncture. And now we have a team of
awesome practitioners committed to health and healing. Please forward this
newsletter to your friends and family who you think might benefit from it.
(The forward button is on the bottom of this page.) Lastly, check out our
NEW WEBSITE!! It's finally here with all the updated information. I'm
looking forward to seeing old faces and new faces in 2006. Peace,

Is it time for a Tune-Up?
|
|

|
|
Why is it that we don't
hesitate to get our car's oil changed, brakes fixed and tuned-up and we
don't even think to do it with our physical vehicle, our bodies? Unlike a
car, we can't trade our bodies in for a newer model - it's with us for
life. So take really good care of your body. Your health is everything.
And why wait until there is a crisis or emergency? There's a thing called
TUNE-UPS. Gauge for yourself what your body needs so there are no
emergencies. Emergencies look like the back going out, neck and shoulder
pain, unexplained infertility, and so on. The more you do for yourself
between tune-ups, the fewer you need. What can you do for yourself? You
can exercise regularly, you can eat consciously, you can meditate daily,
you can love your work and be in healthy relationships. As you move
through life, sometimes there are bumpy roads and transitions that
require a little extra assistance with a bodyworker. Bodyworkers are
people who work on the human body to keep the qi or energy flowing. They
can come in the form of acupuncturists, chiropractors, massage
therapists, counselors, nutritionists, etc. Flow in your body means flow
in your life. It's a simple as that.
