CHRISTIE HWANG JORDAN, Dipl.AC., L.Ac., MSOM

Christie has been studying the healing arts for over 15 years.  She received a Masters Degree from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine.  She is national board certified by the NCCAOM and licensed in the state of Illinois for acupuncture. She received her BA from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champagne.  She also studied acupuncture in Japan under the direction of Nakao Sunsae, and was an apprentice to herbal master Dr. Zhengang Guo in Chicago. 

Christie was the first acupuncturist at the Tiffani Kim Wellness Center and Kiva Spa.  She has appeared as a guest on several cable shows, on the E! channel, and on FOX News.   She has also guest lectured at the Loyola Graduate School and lectured at Symposiums.  Currently, she is the founder and director of Source Healing, a center for learning and healing, located in the River North/Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago.  She has been practicing Oriental Medicine in that neighborhood for the past 8 years, where she has built a strong word-of-mouth clientele based on great results and lasting relationships. 

Christie treats a variety of conditions stemming from emotional and spiritual disharmony that manifest in physical pain, infertility, anxiety, depression, insomnia and other symptoms.  She also empowers and inspires people who are feeling stuck in their lives whether it be in their jobs or relationships.  After the initial blockage is moved or presenting symptoms are treated, her clients come in when they choose to for “Tune-ups” that assist in the movement of energy, or Qi, during transition in their lives. 

Christie uses a blend of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Chinese nutrition, guided meditations, intuitive energy work, essential oils and other tools to assist her clients in their health and well-being.   She tailors the treatments to her patients needs, and the results speak for themselves.
