Connie Aburano, RN, LAc

Connie treats a variety of acute and chronic disorders resulting from imbalances in body, mind and spirit. Believing that we all have an innate ability to heal which is sometimes impaired by stress, lifestyle, diet, etc., she is able to assist clients in that process through the use of acupuncture, Chinese Energetic Reflexology, energy work, and herbs. Connie has successfully employed the synergy of acupuncture and Chinese Energetic Reflexology with clients who have chronic conditions as well as acute disorders, pain and infertility. She knows spiritual and emotional connections are critical to the healing process when a client is ready to propel to the next level. This involves removing old obstructions and stagnations while teaching the use of tools that assist with connecting on a deeper level. Her passion is working with clients toward their goal of balance and flow which results in optimal radiant health.

Connie graduated from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in 1996, has been national board certified by the NCCAOM, and holds an Illinois state acupuncture license. At Evanston Northwestern Healthcare she has worked as a nurse for over 25 years. She currently serves on the Board of Acupuncture for the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and is also a past president of the Illinois Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
